Arrest of Attention for woodwind quintet (2020)

After I retired from teaching in 2018, I took time off from composition to enter several older works into Finale. Then, in 2020, only three months after moving from Potsdam, New York to Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, the covid pandemic hit. I returned to composition, and completed fourteen pieces in that year alone. Among these works was Arrest of Attention, the fourth woodwind quintet I've written. There is no particular program behind the piece.
